🌊🤖 A robot that can FLY AND SWIM?!

Researchers at MIT and EPFL have developed a tiny robot inspired by diving birds like puffins, loons, and gulls. The aerial aquatic robot can swim underwater, break through the surface, and take flight using its flapping wings. 🐦🌊

And this could be more than just incredible technology.

Researchers envision robots like this one eventually helping oceanographers and marine biologists collect data, take measurements, and monitor hard to reach areas of the ocean. 💙
