Cetacean entanglement remains one of the greatest threats facing whales, dolphins, and porpoises around the world. Our 2026 Special Report explores the causes and impacts of entanglement while highlighting the research, rescue efforts, and conservation initiatives working to protect these remarkable marine mammals.
