New UN Assessment Highlights Growing Challenges Facing Our Ocean

A new United Nations World Ocean Assessment warns that our oceans are under severe and accelerating stress from climate change, pollution, and industrial fishing. Sea level rise has more than doubled over the past decade, ocean temperatures continue to break records, and millions of tons of plastic enter the ocean every year.
